Dr. Stuart B. Carter is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with fellowship training in diseases of the cornea, cataract surgery, and correction of refractive errors. Dr. Carter’s specialties include treatment of dry eye and ocular surface disease, laser vision correction, and cataract surgery with implantation of intraocular lenses for nearsightedness, farsightedness, presbyopia, and astigmatism. Dr. Carter aims to provide complete eye care for each of his patients to achieve optimal results.

Dr. Carter earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and completed his medical education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology training at New York University Medical Center and his fellowship training in Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Carter is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and resides in Macungie with his wife and son.
